New Financials:
As a former senior financial leader, CFO, CPA, and Certified M&A Advisor, I am now in my third career (giving back). Regarding today’s financial reporting, it needs to advance beyond cramming different stakeholders’ needs into a single historical framework. This era needs three separate and auditable financial statements: one historical, one prospective, and one detailing present and future community benefits. Better clarity from the new reports will enable new financial vehicles to monetize public-private initiatives. I have started working on this project and will present my ideas to date. I am looking for a team to help bring this into reality.
Plunder & Wealth Indices:
I want to introduce and find collaborators to establish a series of plunder and wealth indexes and related tools that will provide the average taxpayer with longitudinal measures of the effectiveness of government, the judiciary, and the economy. These ‘Output-Input’ indexes can be developed for state and local levels. They can also serve as the basis for citizen organizations to monitor and campaign for improvements. The rewards, penalties, and other incentives to be developed are open for discussion.
